How does the process work?
We make it easy for you with free shipping both ways! Once you place your order we will send you a prepaid mailer that you can use to send us your baby receiving blanket. We will transform it into your very own Archie and mail it back to you.
What types of baby blankets & fabrics can be transformed into Archie the memory plush?
We mostly work with baby receiving blankets made from cotton, fleece, and flannel. Just like the one from the hospital or the ones you purchase for a newborn. No knits please. Just send us the material you want to transform, and we’ll do the rest.
Is there a specific size or material requirement for the baby blanket?
We work with baby receiving blankets or similar fabrics that are approximately 28 x 35 inches. For best results, it’s recommended that the blanket is in good condition.
What can I expect the turnaround time to be?
Our turnaround time may vary depending on the current volume of orders, but we aim to complete the transformation and return your plush within 2-4 weeks of receiving your blanket.
Is the extra baby blanket material returned to me?
No, any unused material will not be returned. But, we understand the sentimental value of your baby blanket. In the event you would like it returned, please contact us when you place your order and we will try to accommodate your request.
How do I ensure the safe shipping of my baby blanket to your business?
When you place your order, you will receive detailed shipping instructions. Your blanket will ship with USPS and will include tracking. We are not responsible for lost items during shipment either way. USPS includes $100 insurance on all ground shipments. If you would like to purchase additional insurance please contact us before you place your order so we can adjust the fee.
What if my baby blanket is damaged during the transformation process?
While we take every precaution to preserve your baby blanket, accidents can happen. If your blanket is damaged during the transformation, we will work with you to find a satisfactory solution such as repairs.
